    LMT’D controller replacement pictures

The torque rating of 100nm is what we get from mxus. I think most companies wattage and even torque claims are somewhat exaggerated. The manufacturers at least. I have brose motors that claim 90nm of torque but certainly do not feel like it. Regarding wattage, Rad, juiced, and many others all...

    Ongoing issues with LMTD

Hello FNF, I didn't have the time to read all that, I apologize. As mentioned, the MXUS motor we use doesn't have "thermal limiting". Did a customer support rep from our team tell you otherwise? The MXUS motor we use is 750w nominal. Let me know if you have any other questions I can help with...

    Ongoing issues with LMTD

Some motors have overheat protections in place. In the case of the LMT'D only the controller (not display) provides that sort of protection/shut-off.

Honestly, I can't follow what you are talking about in your posts. I will reiterate the take away message. The information you received is not accurate. You are simply talking to a sales person who likely will not discuss a custom order or product type for you. When you order 5,000 units per...

Who answered you from MXUS? They clearly did not know as that information is not correct.

    Price increase - 2021 - 25% Chinese Tariff

This battery price increase is separate from the tariffs. Battery prices jumped 160% because Samsung LG, and PA have a shortage of high-capacity 18650 cells. So we're possibly changing to 21700 or looking for any other solution. They've increased base prices. This shortage should be temporary...

Try riding with the display battery readout setting set to 'voltage' and not 'percentage. That will help explain how much range you can expect quite a bit better. You should get much more than 17 miles.

    Price increase - 2021 - 25% Chinese Tariff

The 'arrival' of the tariffs is pretty confusing to be honest. They started a long time ago. But were granted exemption extensions, which ended, but then were extended again (pre-election), for political reasons no doubt, but it looks like they are finally here to stay. All of this has been...

    Ongoing issues with LMTD

Okay, let us know. I wonder if it could have possibly been overheat protection. This only happens up hills? Overheat wouldn't happen every ride though, so not likely.

When it cut's out, does the throttle stop working as well? If you were to stop, and lift up the wheel, would the throttle not work? I'm just trying to figure out if it was an overheat protection, if something else was wrong, or if it was an expectation issue. I'm still not sure. Your latest...

    Ongoing issues with LMTD

Hello, When you say "on just about every ride, the power cuts out. 99% of the time, the cut out is on hills. Not mountains, not steep hills. Moderate to shallow, varying durations. The last time I rode the bike, the power cut out twice on flats as well. Support has all the details." Are you...

A handlebar riser does make for a more comfortable ride-for me

Which bike are you trying to be more upright on? That would make it easier for people to recommend something.

    Assembling Ride1Up 500 Series

Assembly certs are not required. If you don't know bikes, ask a friend or mechanic to check your work after self-assembly, as it's better to be safe, than risk injury or future damage to your bike as well as a negative riding experience.

    Assembling Ride1Up 500 Series

1 Year frame issues aren't really any issue. It's simply to maintain the simplicity for the warranty terms. Of all 10,000 bikes out in the world, I've only seen frame damage on delivery, as well as two frames in which the seat post was past the minimum insertion line and snapped the seat tube...

What was the issue? Why is in unsafe to ride? My CS team said that you had a complaint about the power application, or the application of power via the torque sensor system. If you could share more information, that would be great. Saying that it is unsafe and has been 5 months is a bit...

    Ride1UP Mid Drive Teaser

The Brose motor will have a 2 year warranty and servicing possibilities in most bike shops that are qualified to service brose motors. They are definitely more reliable than Bafang motors. No offensive to that Bolton video, but that's not a very thorough or comprehensive explanation on the...

    eBike tech support job available

Hello all! Hope this is okay to share here (I'm not sure if there is a better sub-forum, or if it is even allowed). We are looking to hire another full time tech support agent. It's very tough to find people with bike, or eBike experience/knowledge. I thought there would be no better place to...

    Aventon Level vs. Ride1Up 700

Aventon has ebs sensors as well, I'm quite certain. If the system is using a cadence sensor, it should have ebs. We are using a shengyi motor also. We are also running out of inventory. The covid production delays are tough right now. There is a lot of demand in the spring. Anyway, both bikes...
