CCX Race Mode Offers Less Assistance than Sport Mode?

@Tora Harris My CCX has always provided assist in 0 mode, and Race is no different than Sport. I contacted customer support, but they haven't replied. Can you help please?

    Speedometer accuracy?

I tested the CCX default setting with a GPS app on my phone and it was accurate enough (within .5 mph)

    CCX Voltage

I see, I didn't see that posted anywhere. I'm not that concerned, I just wanted to make sure I didn't have a dead cell or something.

    CCX Voltage

With the stock charger the bike charges to 57.9v, and today it was 57.8v. what are you seeing on the CCX (or other 52v offering with 19.2ah battery)?

Does rain/moisture affect the torque sensor?

I haven't opened a ticket yet, as I'm trying to gather more data so it's easier to diagnose when I do open the ticket. It is very similar to the controller issue I experienced with the original CC, with the difference being that the other one never worked right after it started to show the symptoms.

Does rain/moisture affect the torque sensor?

Ok, so maybe it's not the rain. I'm having odd issues now even without. Sometimes the bike will accelerate even after I've stopped pedalling. Other times it cuts out momentarily. The first time I noticed anything the bike was in race mode a week or so back and wouldn't go past 20mph until I...

Does rain/moisture affect the torque sensor?

I've now ridden the CCX in everything from heavy fog, light rain, through to heavy rain. I've noticed something, seemingly only when wet. Once every 20 seconds or so, there seems to be some hesitation or momentary backoff on the power while pedalling normally. Has anyone else experienced this...

    Service and delivery problems: Solved?

I ordered it from https://www.juicedbikes.com/collections/parts-1/products/grin-tech-cycle-satiator?variant=7611724922903 It was in stock on November 13th when I ordered it, and my order went through. It's Sold Out now.

    Service and delivery problems: Solved?

For bikes, maybe the problem is solved, but I have 3 or 4 experiences ordering parts or accessories and them not shipping until I've emailed. I've had to cancel 1 or 2 others. The latest is the Grin charger. I think I ordered that 2 weeks back, and have emailed, but nothing. I'm not trying to...

First (ever?) Commute on a Crosscurrent X.

1050 is generally the max it gets to, though at max output I'm generally looking ahead and not at the display for very long ;)

First (ever?) Commute on a Crosscurrent X.

I'm getting over 1,000 watts regularly out of the CCX, and it sustains that seemingly without end. It's winter, so we'll see if heat build up causes it to pull back in the summer. Maybe @Tora Harris knows what temp from the controller triggers a back off? I've seen up to 42C.

Schwalbe Marathon Plus a lot worse than stock Kenda tires!

On my road bike, I can swap out a tube from a flat in under 5 minutes, mid commute. On an ebike, forget about it. I'll call someone to pick me up and swap it out at home where I have the proper setup. Due to this, I value flat resistance over grip. It just requires an added amount of...

First (ever?) Commute on a Crosscurrent X.

I take some of that back @Chris Hammond Today it assisted well past 31. I was at 34 going down a hill before car traffic slowed me down (I don't ride on the paths that quick). The only thing that changed is that yesterday I moved the Max Speed setting from max at something like 65, down to 40...

First (ever?) Commute on a Crosscurrent X.

Yeah, even down a hill, the CCX hits a wall by 31mph. I have max assist set to 40mph, so I'm not sure what's going on. Also, max charge with the stock charger is 57.9v. I ordered the Grin charger, so we'll see if I get an extra .9 volts out of that. Either way, 30 is plenty fast. I still haven't...

First (ever?) Commute on a Crosscurrent X.

I've ridden the original CC, as well as the CC with the S upgrade after the original controller failed: (Link Removed - No Longer Exists) The original CC was definitely anemic up hills, slower than the the ODK. After upgrading to the S controller, hill climbing was improved significantly...

First (ever?) Commute on a Crosscurrent X.

I ended up modifying my current mirror, and, with a longer bolt, I was able to mount it. I'll check the mud flap to see if that helps. Thanks for the tip.

First (ever?) Commute on a Crosscurrent X.

After commuting for 3 years on the ODK U500 v3, I built the CCX last night, with a few modifications, and set off today. I felt like an absolute hooligan. On the streets in race mode, I was fairly easily doing 30mph. On the bike trail, I had to step it down to 1 or 2 just to keep the speed in...

    CrosscurrentX availability?

I got my CCX shipment notification and tracking number on Nov 6th, but it hasn't moved since then, so I think they were just printing a bunch of labels or something to get that step out of the way.
