The charging port does not have a cover. I have had zero problems with the port without a cover. I live in Wichita KS lots of rain the water ingress is minimal. No problems thus far. I have expirienced no difference in charging on or off the bike. The one thing I will say is the door lock...

Do you ride with any other Ebikers? How does the bike compare? 30-50 Newton meters would be weak for me I need lots of help. My Bulls puts out 80. Maybe there is a diff in peak verses normal??
