There is no perfect bike if you have a budget. I have a city and am very happy with it. Why don't you test drive one. If you are not close to a dealer or rental place, check out the Facebook group. You will find someone close by that will let you test ride.
Tariffs can help domestic manufacturers in the short term but does nothing to help them compete in a global market. 95% of the world's consumers live outside the US.
Handlesbar - you said China is paying for the tariffs. You imply this is done by devaluating their currency. In the end you are saying the US purchaser has a reduced price and when they pay the tariff they are no worse than before.
Maybe I didn't say it correctly. The currency is not dropping...
This will be great news for the importer if it was true. You are saying the Chinese reduce the price by 25% by devaluing the currency. Its actually gone in the other direction.
US companies have to pay that 25% to US Customs in order to retrieve their goods from the dock.
The Radmini are very popular. I like the non spoke wheels of the Magnum. The Magnum is faster which is good for streets but bad for riding on bike paths since class 3 can be banned.
I had a price limit and had an idea of type of bike. I wanted a trail bike that could do well on roads and bike trails. So fat tires didn't seem right and I didn't need a folding bike. Where do you want to ride and how will you transport / store you bike? Don't discount folding bikes if you...
Radrunner and Radcity are very different bikes. Where will it be stored? I think there is a place in NY to see the bikes. Don't know much about the Pace except it's a class 3.
You might want to post in the Rad Facebook group. There is over 18,000 members. I have a city and city st so I can't answer but I know a lot of people like the mini and it fits in a storage bin.
Your choice would be to tell Trump and anyone who will listen to drop tariffs. There is no place for tariffs in a global economy. Those companies choose to manufacture there and knew the rules. GM could have said no and shipped from the US just like BMW does with the X5.
Correct and that's where comparing direct drive to geared is not an easy answer.
The direct will be slower to react but you have the throttle to go from 0 to 750 watts with a simple twist.
