You can also usually walk away from an ebike crash. When I owned cycles I was always getting hurt.

They're two different kinds of two wheeled animals. A proper motorcycle provides a more pure experience of a leaning machine. A bicycle provides the enjoyment of a human motor.
Of late I have seen many ebikes going down the side of the road at 30+mph, no pedaling. Those are just lame as*ed motorcycles.
A proper ebike should be more bicycle than motorcycle.
