They were sustainable and very rich and threw the best parties. Not sure about fighting the British, but the British also did not like the prospect of an invasion and the bombing of London. Anger can be a healthy motivational emotion. It is good and right in the right circumstances. Snake venom is toxic but similar compounds also kill cancer. It is how you use your anger as a activating thing in the right dose that is healing.

there is an old "strawbale" house in the Midwest that still stands today If I remember correctly( other hobby" studying energy efficient structures) it was constructed some time in the 1800's if memory serves me correctly,the modern termite boxes have an expected lifetime of 30 years.

Once, I was walking in Tel-Aviv at night. Spotted a group of people speaking Romanian. I wanted to show off a little:

You never know who's listening to you around. Once, I was talking with Brix (in Polish) by the Warsaw Chopin Airport. "I watched many aviation programmes and now know it needs a lot of money for a person to become a commercial pilot, the First Officer. I wonder whether the upgrade to Captain is automatic and free or it requires a financial input from the person?". A tall pretty young man around wearing civilian clothes remarked: "You can bet it costs a lot of money!" and he elaborated some. Turned out, he was an airline captain

This 1953 German bike had a shifter mounted on the top tube, similar to what you showed, Charge, only less gears. I swear that's true!
