Rear Wheel Removal Tip

Well, I can say you certainly think outside the box or in this case inside the bottle ;)
I bought that Gatorade bottle for $1.89 at a little Mexican market, then cut off the bottom heated it and slid it over that battery. To get to the USB port you just unscrew the top. That was in 2020. I now use different batteries but of the same diameter, 90mm, the same as a standard bike water bottle. My friend and cargo mom Natalie had an in the milk box idea on how to make a bike more aero - it really flies.

So this is a total custom build by you then?
The cargo bike is a Gary Fisher Trek. I got a ride to South San Francisco. The bike was too small for my legs. I had to ride around GG Park because of a huge music festival and out to the coast, then ride, no motor yet, up seacliff and some other four huge hills. When I finally got to the Golden Gate Bridge there were 40 mph head on gusts around the main towers that knocked me sideways. Then I had to climb way up to descend into Sausalito and took the trail to Mill Valley, then up Horse Hill to Corte Madera and on to Larkspur Landing to catch the train to Petaluma. I made the train departure time by 30 seconds. Yes, it was a one-off custom conversion, through frame, and does not look like an eBike to most people. I upgraded stuff like gears and brakes along with the mid-drive. ET was the game changer for the bike's aerodynamics. A little boy wanted a doll for Christmas and the macho dad said, NO, but ET is so ugly that the dad said OK.

Dad was stationed at Alameda NAS in WWII. He and mom were married in Oakland Jan 1945. A month later he was shipped off to Saipan and mom came back home to Texas. Anyway back to bikes, that probably gave you a lot of experience with Bikes and E-Bikes too.

I have something like 600 custom eBikes in circulation. Each has its own story. To see what others say about their bikes see Google Maps and look for PedalUma eBikes, reviews. Bob Merwin's review is cool. He asked me if the bike should be tossed in the dumpster, that was its condition. Any likes of more interesting or informative reviews are welcome. Just like likes here are always welcome.

We live... and we learn. And you have a good attitude about just moving on about it 👍
Not sure where all the positive reviews on that tire are from. I'd guess from those that don't know any better. Or maybe you got one that slipped passed QC, if that's even a thing.
Me personally I'd stay away from generic tires from unknown brand names.
You know, just thought of something. That guy when he texted me about the tires said “Be sure and use a new tube“. I said “I ordered new tubes from you with the tires as I was planning on doing that. I thought at the time ”That was weird”. Thinking back on it now, The tube looked to be a 3” tube like the tire. I now feel he said that because if I tried to use the 4” tube on the bike from the manufacturer of my E-Bike I would have noticed right away something was off. Now that really irritates me.

Ok, back to my Kenda tires, my wife is ranting for me to stop buying stuff so I am going to attempt to put the Kenda’s on when she is out of town this Tuesday. We’ll see how it goes. I cannot blame her as I have been having stuff come here about every day (some for E-Bike but mostly things I needed from Amazon for other reasons). I have cut up about 8 boxes for the trash. You know we are backward. Usually the woman spends money but my wife is very frugal and conservative with money (has been since we married 45 years ago). Doesn’t require much to make her happy but when I spend a good amount for something for her it bugs her. Oh well some things do not change with either of us. 😁
She doesn’t have to but she is happier going to thrift shops or Goodwill and grabbing a shirt, pants, or whatever. She blows me away how she will need something and goes out and walla there it is for very low price.

I have to do something today that I don't want to do. It is like changing a diaper. Putting it off won't help. First I need to attach those little wires in that central pile sealing each one because they were damaged when removing the external insulation.

Sounds like you gotta a keeper and did well by doing so.
I hate to waste and have no use for trendy/designer anything... but if there's something I want, I spend.
As for your original tire purchase, it's too late now but I would have sent him photos with a ruler and asked him to explain the discrepancy. If he he couldn't and refused to take them back at his expense I would have filed a CC dispute. I'm not a fan of being taken.
Good luck with the Kenda... I feel responsible 😇/😈

These Kenda’s look a lot different. Better looking and can tell just by looking at them they are 4” tires. They shipped from Kenda in a large box so the wire was not bent or anything. They look more professional just like tires I had on my Motor Cycle in the mid 70’s. The guy sounded Middle eastern and was real pissy. I should have sent them photos but do not think even that would do any good because I suspect he knew they were not right but selling them anyway. All of the reviews (I think 15-20) were 4 and 5 star which may have been made up for all I know. I just wasn’t in the mood and he had a policy of “customer pays the return shipping cost which would have been half or more of what I paid for them. I just took them to Goodwill to get them out of the house.

fun fun fun…I feel for. you. I saw something that might help. it holds each side of the wire or cable while you solder

Well glad the Kenda look to be better. I was impressed by their shipping method as well.
Next time just remember you can file a CC dispute. Customer paying the return shipping only applies if the item is as described.

My fault. If I had listened to you in the first place then this would not have happened but I saw those “Wanda” tires with the brown sidewall and thought that would look cool. Nothing about it was cool.

This has nothing to do with rear wheel removal. It is a modified BLT called an LGBTQ because it has queo and guacamole, GQ. It has the energy required for rear wheel removal. That is brea melted into the bacon aiding the wheel removal process.

This sheds light on why you're partial to building/riding bikes with a female or should I say gender neutral flare 🙃
I'd bet that panino has a generous serving of special sauce 🙃 🙃
