I thought Shwalbe Tires were supposed to be Really Good tires??

Do they only last a year before they rot??

I guess it's possible that they were old stock and weren't properly stored before purchase.
My Al Grounders have 4600mi and look new when cleaned up.

3yrs from date of purchase.

Hmm,..
I wonder if if matters that I bought them on Amazon.ca and they shipped from England?

I've also got two more brand new Super Moto-X tires (that I bought from the same vendoron Amazon), and a 27.5" Schwalbe Hurricane tire, and a 29" wheel with Hurricane tire on it as well.
Maybe I should use them up before they rot too??

Your Schwalbe link says that the date code is stamped inside the tire, but I can't make any sense of it??
(This is one of the new (unused) Super Moto-X tires.)

Why not swap out the other tires you have for now... Probably shouldn't ride on those much longer anyway

Yeah.
Either way that rear tire needs to be replaced, and it needs to come off to take a picture of the white stamp inside for warranty anyway.
My other tires are just sitting there getting old and brittle.

I just gotta get off my ass and git-er-done. 😁

These days it's possible to order a brand name product and receive a cheap knockoff that looks genuine,..

I did a search, and all I could find was fake online shops that take your money and don't deliver anything.
Schwalbe themselves put out the warning.

They have a bar code on the inside of the tire as well as the cryptic date code, and another stamped number,..
