,.. a highspeed black hornet hit my front tooth and went under my left lower lip and stung it.

My dad had a wasp hit him in the neck. It got under the collar of his jacket and stung him more than a dozen times before he could get pulled over to get it out.

ad to buy a new Chrome messenger bag. My other one was fine, and it had a cool rainblow reflecting flap, but after a whole day of wearing it with a 65-mile ride, my left shoulder started being really painful. That was the 4th of July. still hurts a little now, so I had to get a new bag that can go left or right. I forgot I have a torn rotator cuff and one other muscle on that side, so that's why I guess. I was hoping if I went to their little store they would have something custom but nope. Didn ot want the one with embroidered flowers.

@Base,
There is a large retail electric bike shop downtown in my town of 60,000. They have three 'electric bike mechanics' but do not own a voltmeter or soldering iron between them. I just soldered in a new handlebar display and diagnosed a battery voltage issue, fixed it, and then soldered in a new LED display of power level in a battery.

Every good E-bike mechanic knows that you don't need none of that crap to fix a Quality E-bike. 😁

Check out the butane powered soldering iron on the left.
No wires, no batteries, just a shot of butane.

I'm sure that I can run it off propane Propane too !!@??

none of that crap
They sell $14,000 bikes and just guess at what is wrong by replacing parts. They also do not know how to open a motor and lube maintenance the internal gears. They wait until it breaks and replace the motor. And they do not own dielectric grease. What is great even though they are much bigger than me, is that I come up as the best bike shop in my town according to search and have three-times more reviews and have higher ratings. Much of that is not technical skill, it is treating people like neighbors. Butane is highly explosive, be carful, and yes it is cool tool. I love it.

There's a shop on the other side of town that I call the jewelry store. When you walk in the door, everything is in glass cases. The mechanics are upstairs in an isolated area (pros and cons for this). Every single thing is in perfect place. They sell bikes and service what they sell. They will do basic work on non-customer bikes but that's it. They also sell watersports stuff and winter stuff.

We will work on anything, pretty much. We draw the line at gasoline. Those go up the street to the powersports dealer. Otherwise, we take just about everything. Today, on my day off, I found a motor wiring harness for a wheel a guy brought in. The wheel belongs to a bike, whose company went bankrupt in August. We will give it a shot for this guy. Maybe someone in his family will need a bike someday. It's an old school LBS.
