Solder recommended

I am going to purchase solder from Ebay, use ebike components
Will this work?

63/37 Tin Lead Line Soldering 0.8mm Rosin Core Solder Flux Welding Wire Reel Hot

Or any recommendations

That's actually the older solder (pre-ROHS lead free initiative) but a much better solder than typically available these days.

Not sure what you are planning to solder but that's a good solder.
 
I've always used 60/40, but am interested in the 63/37 because it melts at a lower temperature and also changes over from solid-liquid and back much faster than 60/40.

While I have a solder station that could do lead free, my solder gun cannot handle it. I don't care for it, except for plumbing.Too hard to work with at home.

I don't see soldering ebike components to be any different than other electrical devices. The standard soldering rules still apply. Heat the joint hot enough for good solder flow but not hot enough to melt insulation, use heat sinks where necessary etc.

There is no question that solder containing lead is easier to work with and is coveted by professionals. I have a 5# spool of Kestler 60/40 that I treat like gold and use sparingly. 63/37 should work equally well for most applications.
