This thing has a 52v 39ah battery capacity and a 160nm rated Bbshd motor for $3600!
I need to convince a friend or family member to buy one asap!

The ultimate post apocalyptic EBike! The way 2020 is going this could come in handy!

I don't see a 2kWh's worth of battery in that pic. Maybe 500wH internal and 500wH external. Where's the rest?

Yes, one is internal.

Nice bike too bad they stick that crappy front shock on it!

And crappy front 135 rear 190 spacing with 5mm skewers UGH!

39 ah of battery and estimated range is only 123 km, that's why I'm not a fan of fat bikes. That's around 2,000 wh of charge for around 120 km?????

I can see the appeal of a lot of different types and why people make different choices, but I guess I just don't see what you get with 4.8" wide tires that you couldn't get with say 2.4" wide tires. Ability to ride on sand or snow? I guess if you live near the beach, otherwise where can you go with a fat bike that you couldn't on a mountain bike?

I looked up the bike on the Biktrix website and the internal battery is 910 wh and there are three options for the external battery, the largest of which is 1,119 wh. It's probably pictured with one of the smaller optional batteries.

imo fat bikes are the ultimate all terrain commuters , they handle mud, grass, sand, loose dirt, and snow better than standard bikes, they are also very comfortable, just all around fantastic commuters! the downside is drag so a good fat bike needs a big motor and battery which equals heavy! still i think they are worth it, i will always have a fat bike in my line up!

Riding in the snow looks like fun. Although I live in Canada, we don't get much snow where I live and for riding on gravel paths etc .... I can even ride my carbon road bike with 23 mm tires. Obviously I have to go slower, but I can. I've found for my use that the 38 mm tires on my commuter are good for wherever I choose to commute or ride other than mountain biking, but for that I ride a regular MTB.

With so little snow here I couldn't justify a fat bike that would get so little use.

When I look at the Canadian site it says 123 km+ range for the largest battery option. Maybe someone got a miles to km conversion wrong somewhere when they made the different Canadian and US websites.

Where I park my bike at work, fat bikes wouldn't fit so that would be a problem.

If I could make a suggestion to biktrix it would be pay someone to redesign their logo. The striped white bikrix logo is just hideous and cheapens the look of their bikes.

They could hire me!
