I tried to get my wife to try the bike. She tried, but she got off very quickly. She was very spooked by the acceleration, with PA1, when starting out.
I Do think there is room for improvement with that, and maybe other eBike manufacturers have improved it already. My bike is basically a Lectric.
In PA1, there is a 1 to 2 second delay before kick in, but when it kicks in, it's fast. There is not enough of a speed ramp - it just Goes.
It's fine for me, but it scared her, and I imagine it scares others. Should be pretty straightforward to define a PA setting with a much lighter speed ramp - so that it doesn't feel like the bike is getting away from the rider.
