And are alright with this "scalping" .During hurricane season this price gouging is called scalping(and it doesn't get this bad) you wait till the end of summer you will be glad to get gas for $3.50 dollars a gallon , oh yes the controllers , the past few ebikes the controller are 'rated" for only a specific voltage, back last year the controllers had full spec on the label. *

I've been a woodworker for 48 years, 24 years of that professionally. I build "things" everyday. Belly aching about a price going up is a fools errand that could produce a list of items that would go into infinity. It's called capitalism. Are you still buying gasoline? I remember it being just over a quarter a gallon during price wars in the early 60s. So if this will become a rant forum just like Facebook, here's mine. What really upsets me is you tacking on a little bike related sentence on a useless rant under the General eBike Discussion subject line. Most places call it trolling, and that's want you want to accomplish. This site used to be all about eBikes and that's the way it should stay. There should be no place to rant, even off topic. There are a ton of places to uselessly complain about your life, this should never be one.
All eBikes are luxury items. No one requires an ebike to get fit or even commute to work on. Traditional bicycles work fine and did for more than a century. It's humorous you complain that luxury items are out of reach. Good ridable Schwinns can be gotten nearly for free. I picked a 1972 Schwinn Continental off the curb just this week. New tires, tubes, and some lubrication and it's perfect. Cheaper recreation is easily available.
