Wheel axle does not fit fork end

Hi Chaps,
I have the same problem ie.A 1000w motor too powerful for aluminium forks but managed to pick up some quality used forks on ebay for £15 incl.postage.Just need to get it fitted now but will still put a torque arm on for extra safety.Being in the UK i'm fighting the weather now which is damned cold.Having said that it is a spare bike so it's a winter project.

Ok, I think I will find a different bike with steel forks, better safe than sorry.

I had the same problem and bought some cheap steel forks on ebay for a mere £10.They fitted fine and was not a big job.Just measure your stem for fitting purposes and get on youtube for help.I had not done this job before so as long as you get the correct replacement you should be fine.
