What type of axle is on this civante and can it be changed

I am used to quick release axles that I can hang my bob yak trailer off of. It doesn’t seem like you can attach any type of trailer off this rear axle. Can it be changed to quick release type? Thanks.

You'll need to replace the stock thru-axle with one that has an external thread to accomodate a trailer coupling. I use this Burley axle for our...Burley.

Oh wait...I just looked up your trailer. I don't think that will work for your particular trailer.

Contact The Robert Axle Project, I believe they will have the Thru Axle and the bobbins specifically made to accept the Bob Yak trailer for you.

Quick release axles are yesterday's news. Today's thru axles are far superior; more rigid then those spindly quick releases ever will be!
