What new tires should I get for my Pedego Interceptor?

I am super excited to get these tires! I'm on track for 3500 miles in my first year of riding and will likely get more miles in year 2 because I am hitting the ground running. It will be great not to have tire replacement being an annual thing. THANK YOU for the recommendation!!!

I ended up getting the Schwalbe Super Moto-X. Awesome tire. I'm very happy with them! I ordered them online--couldn't get them via my bike repair guy OR via Pedego because for some reason the 26" size wasn't in the wholesale bike parts directories.

Good choice ebikemom! I also had flat problems with the stock Fat Frank's that came on my Interceptor. In my case, I switched tires on all three of my Pedegos to Schwalbe's Marathon Plus. The flat protection is similar to your Super Moto's but with a more aggressive tread. I have almost 2000 miles on them now with no issues.

Awesome, @6zfshdb ! I looked at the Marathon plus, too. I don't remember now why I chose one over the other. ... I might have written about it at the time!!!

Odd, you’d think a bike tech would realize we can inflate to max pressure and reduce tire surface on the roadway, or reduce some to improve traction and get a more cushioned ride.

Thanks, @JohnT ! I am going to order them! I was at Pedego HQ today (Amazing, huh?? Not that I'm usually a name dropper! ) and talked to a tech guy and he also thought they were great tires.

When you mention the relatively smooth tread--I looked them up, and it looks like they are rated at having better road grip than the Fat Franks. Here are comparisons:
