What is this thing?

Hello everyone,

When I picked up my super commuter 8 they gave me a box of accessories, containing things like the charger and instruction manuals. It also included this thing, which at first I thought was a spoke wrench, but this is made by Bosch, has threads, each notch seems to be the same size, and so I honestly don't know what it is. Can anyone help identify this for me?

Thanks.

It’s a locknut to secure the drive sprocket onto the motor
Hopefully it is a spare and has not been forgotten to be installed
Best to check out this video

I checked the bike and it looks like it's a spare ( picture attached). Thank you very much for identifying it and giving be the video link

Thanks John. I just rode it to work today and it was so much nicer than commuting in a car. The car commute is normally about 20 minutes, but it took me closer to 40 on the bike mostly in tour (level 2/4) and taking a slightly longer route to avoid roads without bike lanes/paths. Given that I am out of shape and haven't biked in a while, that time will only get better!
