What could be better?

Or what are your complaints about your Hai?

Few from me.
Sometimes assist stops about 19mph and won't budge 20. I seldom care, but the few times I do it's annoying to be restricted to less than the governed speed.

It's really hard for me to get much above 20mph peddling as hard as I can. I guess that partly means the gearing is dead on where it should be without much overhead left. And partly the drag of the heavy bike and some energy loss to the suspension movement. And partly I'm not strong enough. LOL

Haibike is bringing in few Full Suspension speed pedelecs for 2016 with 500Whr battery.
Also, some of their bikes will have Nuvinci HSync (auto transmission of sort).

I am really hoping for a 2016 hard tail MTB with speed pedelec. I don't like having to buy a dongle and deal with an inaccurate speedo when all the capability is already there and just needs to be unlocked from the factory.

Any idea if this is in the works?

Yes, it's been in the works for almost an year.
Official announcement will be made at the Interbike next week.

I own a Haibike Exduro FS RX. Bought it from Crazy Lenny a year ago. I use it both on trails and street riding. I live in a very hilly area of North Carolina and also go to the mountains a lot. I bought a dongle because I thought the 20 mile per hour would be too limiting - but I have never installed it. 20 mph is just fine for me.

I also have a Stromer - my first ebike. I always prefer riding my Haibike because it just has more of a bicycle feel to it. My friends and family who have ridden both agree although both are great.

My only complaint - I just hate, hate, hate seeing the battery on the bike. I so hope that Haibike and Bosch work together to better integrate the battery like Stromer, Specialized, Easy Motion, etc. I mean just look at the new Specialized Turbo Levo!

Nuvinci makes for a really nice setup, but it weighs a lot, about like adding ANOTHER motor. Probably close to Stromer weight.
