what bike best fits my needs

Currently have a Velecbike R48 with48v- 750Watt hub motor and 17amp hour battery that I want to replace . Live in Ohio so have hills to deal with on my 16 mile daily commute to work (8miles one way ) . I have about 3500.00 budget . The only reason I am looking for a new brand is they only make 500watt and 14AH anymore . Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
My needs are 750 watt motor minimum and no less than 17AH battery .
Also Class 1 bikes not an option .
I cant be taking to bike shop for repairs all the time as it is my transportation for work in rain snow sleet hail or sunshine so quality parts matter . :)
I regularly bike 34 mile trips in summer so need to be able to do the distance too .
Cruise control would be nice but not a must ( I love my cruise setting!)
My bike has 13000 miles and is 2 1/2 years old as of now with little issues and I need something that I can repeat this with .

Seems like DOST KOPE with additional battery pack fits your requirements. I've no idea if it has cruise control, though.

What's wrong with your existing bike? when my first battery turned out to be trash, I got my money back from Amazon & bought something else. When my geared hub motor stripped a gear at 4500 miles, I had another one installed in 2 afternoons. I'd ordered the spare motor/wheel/controller kit a year in advance of wearout. Why put a frame in the trash?
Yeah, the nannies have convinced most of the state legislatures that 750 w ebikes are really motorcycles requiring a license, insurance, a moto helmet, blah blah. My motor was 1300 w until the gear wore out. I used it to blaze at a supersonic 8 mph on my 27 mile trip to the country. Well, I could push it to 12 if I used all 840 watthours on the downhill trip.
BTW since I got a good battery, in 6000 miles my home build has shorted out the throttle in the rain thrice, and worn out a hub motor. It is rideable by pedaling with either a wet throttle, or a stripped gear, so no calls to my Mommy were required. No trips to the bike shop either. The throttle responded to a hair dryer. Oh, the motor clicked 3 times, caused by the cover screws coming loose. After I figured out the noise wasn't the bearing, repaired the next two times on the road with a phlllips screwdriver I carry. BTW the bearing was industry standard, available from MSCdirect. I'm retired so no time-clock but I don't run a car, so this bike better work. Electrically when the headwind is too high or the distance is >25 miles, or by pedaling for exercise other times.
My seat comes loose more often than the drive system has problems.

Juiced Bikes offer models with large 52v 19ah battery (two on the Hyper Scrambler), cruise control, long range, and fall under your budget. They come configured as Class 2 but can be changed to Class 3 plus throttle, but are also capable of being set as an electric moped - If you activate the >30mph R or S setting on most Juiced Bike models the bike would then be legally considered a moped on streets, but because they have no VIN number (only a frame number) this may make them unlikely to be able to be insured or registered at your State DMV so I recommend checking before you buy. The HyperScorpion and HyperScrambler models are heavy at >100lb because they use a mix of ebike & moped components - if you decide to buy you might want to upgrade the brakes https://www.juicedbikes.com

Mine is still working but I need to buy another one for family . So I am looking at replacing mine for me and using the one I have now for my son . We currently have 3 Velecs and 2 Bionx . We have 4 children so I need 1 more :) . My 2 eldest also commute to work with an ebike so I need reliability . All five of our bikes had over 4500 miles in less than a year . I cant spend 2 afternoons replacing a stripped motor ( times 5 bikes ) every year . I need durability .

If I had used the same brand replacement motor, replacement would have been 3 hours. The new controller had much shorter wires, so I had to move the controller mount from under the seat to under the battery mount, on the front. Mac may be a more durable motor than an ebikeling.com
