Trying to select my new e-bike

Hello fellow members.
It is time for me to buy my first e-bike.
I cycle for a lot of years a non electric trekking bike and I had rent a BMW Active for 6 months , from which I was really happy.
I am 1.80 cm and 105 kg , and I need an e-bike mainly to explore paths in the nature and also to travel around in the city, for hobby only.
I understand that I need more than 70nm of torque and a battery of 450kw and above for my needs.
Right now I am between Totem Carry pro, Totem Maurice pro , and Crussid e largo which all fall in my budget.
Any insight about these? Or any other suggestions that I may have missed would be highly appreciated.

Happy rides to you all

Any well know brand with a dealer nearby? I have never heard of the brands you mention, Themis.

Another vote for your local bike shop and take several on test rides. The test rides are free so you can’t go wrong.

Some bike shops will rent you an e-bike for the day for about $100 and will take that off the sales price if you buy a bike from them.

Like previously mentioned, buy a known brand that has parts and support. Buying your first e-bike and having it break down and can’t be fixed will sour the whole experience.

I'll chime in, I'm fairly new to e-bikes as well. But I have learned very fast and I have jumped right off the edge in educating myself.
The one commonality that I have seen with e-bikes is the lower the price point the cheaper the components. So you get what you pay for; just keep that in the back of your mind.

I think once you visit a few of your local dealers and ride a few and focus on the quality of the components you will get a feel for the higher end bikes versus low end.
Good luck on your journey and welcome to e-biking.
