As I recall Honda made some downhill bikes back in the day are the coming to Ebike market? What happen to follow the leader he's on a Honda?

As a self confessed Honda fan, I think it would be interesting to see what they offer.

I was thinking more along the lines of Honda's ability to come up with so many different products that are all competitive in their classes. E.G - Automobiles (street and racing), motorcycles, ATV/off road vehicles, outboards, the Honda jets, generators, lawn equipment, etc. etc. etc.

Indeed, Honda has a strong back bone and would bring a lot to the table.

One of the things hurting Yamaha in the US is that their eBikes are sold by the same powersports dealers that sell Yamaha motorcycles and such. It's not unlikely that Honda would have to follow suit. I'm not privvy to the dealer/OEM contracts, but it's not unlikely that there's some kind of exclusivity clause in them in which powersports dealers could prevent the OEM from selling the product to bike shops for end user sales.

Think about Yamaha & Husqvarna are here. Who else is here?
Harley (Serial One) are on their revised 2nd gen, Buell (Fuell) likewise are on their 2nd gen e-bikes, Triumph have an orphan Class 1 ebike model but…

Swedish electric motorcycle brand Cake will sell an ebike model called the Aik
