Vado SL Rear Light Question

Hi all,
I have a question concerning the rear light on the Non-EQ models. Does anyone have a picture of what it looks like? Is it part of the seat or does it just sit under the seat? This leads into my next question. I can get an EQ model but it is not what I prefer because of the looks. If I remove the rear fender and rack, what are my options with the light? I would prefer to move it under the seat if at all possible. Would it then look like the Non-EQ model? Or do I just cut it off and throw it away and install a different light entirely?
Thank you.

I lean more toward detachable USB rechargeable lights. They are cheep and easy and no wiring is involved. There a tons of options and looks for these.

Here are photos of the rear light on my Vado SL 5.0. Hope they help.

That helps a lot. Thank you very much!
Now anyone that has an EQ bike. Do you think your light would be able to go up and attach under the seat like shown?

Absolutely!
I made a bracket, but it wouldn’t be hard to just tape/wire the light up to the seat rails.

Thanks for this. Some questions however:
- could you share 3D printing bracket files?
- is there only possibility to disconnect rear light cable at control unit and then remove wires completely oout of frame?
- is there a way rear light can be opened and wires disconnected on rear light?
- wires are very firmly installed in a rear fender side groove. Any trick to get them out? I am afraid wires will break under force when removing from rear fender ...

PM me your email and I will send you the file.
-The connectors for front and rear lights are at the power button on the top tube. You can disconnect them there, but it’s a bit of a chore to chase them all the way out. If you don’t care about preserving the wire, you can just cut it. The wire for the rear light goes up through the motor cover, up the down tube, up the head tube, and into the top tube. I got it out by removing the motor, battery, and the front fork. Scarier than it sounds, I only had Allen wrenches on hand, and that’s all it took.
-I don’t think you can take apart the light itself.
-yes, the wire is firmly embedded into the fender.I just pulled gently and it came out.
