Vado SL 5.0 EQ mods being considered

Both modification ideas are for my wife's Turbo Vado SL EQ.

Is it possible to retrofit a dropper post with a handlebar lever? I think the biggest problem will be figuring where the cable would enter the frame.
Second, I would like to add 180mm or 200mm brakes; what would be needed for this, besides the rotors? Caliper adapters only? Our rides are mostly offroad and I want her to have more fade-resistant brakes. Thanks in advance for any advice and tips (or downers )!
