Using Di2 hood buttons to control motor assist level? YES AND SOLVED!

I am not familiar with a V2 Service Dongle. It's not on the US price list, so maybe it's a ROW thing. There are two versions of the service tool software, V1 and V2. V1 is obsolete and no longer supported. V2 is what is kept up to date.

Anyone can buy one, but to register it, you must be a TQ dealer or work for one. You can lie and say you are, that's up to you. If you brick your bike and need support, a dealer may be able to help you out, or not. TQ support in the US is provided by QBP. You will need a QBP account to access it, which is dealer-only.

In order to configure Di2 or AXS through the TQ system, you will need a TQ Smartbox, the appropriate TQ adapter cables, and the appropriate system cables. That's for hardwired systems, though, not fully wireless.

My mistake, I was confused by the different listings available.

Hi everyone. I own BMC Roadmachine AMP X (TQ HPR50) and changed those stock Rival shifters it originally came with to new SRAM Red E1 AXS shifters. Those also come with extra hood buttons that are ANT+ compatible.
I now spend several hours on SRAM app and TQ app but can't really see anywhere I Could assign assist up and down to those discreet buttons.
I also have TQ Service Dongle and update all my TQ components to the latest firmware.
At the moment rear mech is powered by it's own SRAM battery but I am in a middle of process of changing it will be feeding from main ebike battery although not sure how this would make difference for my issue.
Anyone with SRAM shifters was able to get this to work ?
Yes, I upgraded my BMC RoadMachine AMP X from the stock SRAM Rival to the new Force controllers with the bonus buttons.
1: pair your new SRAM Components then add them together in the SRAM AXS app. Then use the SRAM app to assign the right lever bonus button to Ant+ 1 and the left lever bonus button to the Ant+ 2.
2: in your mobile TQ app, if you have the latest firmware update for your bikes TQ system and also the tq app, you should see a 3rd Party Integration option under the My Bike menu. Input your SRAM Derailleur ID. I found my ID by looking at the Derailleur info in my Garmin Edge 540 sensors.
If you already have your ID set in the TQ app before you programmed the SRAM Bonus buttons, it won't work! Just delete the SRAM ID from the TQ 3rd Party Integration and re-add it.

It works great! Just use a quick press on the SRAM controller Bonus buttons. If I press for a bit more of a moment it won't respond. But a quick press works nicely.

Thanks for the update. I also have the BMC Amp X. I wonder if you could use the unused shift signal for the front derailleur (Amp X is 1X drive train, no front derailleur) to cycle through assist levels similar to using the one button on the display. While upgrading from Rival to Force would be nice, its a pricy upgrade to gain remote assist level changing.
