Ok Folks I do not think a google search will do me much good on what I want to do,I am building a 1000 watt front drive 26" cruiser I am using a 3 spd IGH, I was wondering beings its going to have a crappy crankset anyway, could acquire a decent 2 spd crank set to put on it for extended gear range( I think I am going to be a little high geared for the hills)

Origin8 makes some nice little front derailleur hangers for bikes that never had a front derailleur, I used one to put a 3 speed crank on my fat tire bike. Had to modify it for the crankset being extra far from the downtube, but I like the result. Even though 21 speeds seems silly on a fat tire ebike, I can always find a gear to give me a comfy pedal cadence. If that's why you are doing this, I agree.

If you're doing it to add some visual bling on a cruiser, I agree too. I am also working on pimping out my 26" front drive cruiser. Whitewalls are my next expense.

Thank you, that is a good reason. I do have one whitewall(Blackburn) that's going on there, may have to run the Blackwall on the front for awhile.
