Turbo S buying advice

Hello Everyone

I recently came across a used 2013 turbo fairly close to me. Going to look at this weekend. I've done quite of research and I've actually ridden this same model about 4 years at a bike shop.

Looking for input on a couple items:

1). Currently the lights do not work. Any input on why these are not functioning?

2). I checked on bicycle blue book. Value is around $1800-2000 for a good condition. Any input on pricing ?

Any other comments appreciated.

Include a new battery in your cost-benefit analysis. A four-year old battery is likely towards the end of its life.

For 1800 bucks you're better off ponying up to a new vado 3.0.

I had an issue with the lights not working. It turned out to be dirty connector in the bottom bracket area. The dealer diagnostic can tell how many battery cycles there have been. The guarantee is 300 cycles for errors but they don't recommend replacement until 700 cycles.

I am inclined to agree with the post to consider stepping up to the new Vado 3.0 if it's not too much of a stretch. Good dealer support is a requisite for either option.
