Turbo Creo with SRAM etap

I would like to drop the cassette from 10-50 to 10-36, say a Rival XG-1250.
I'm being told this would trigger the need for a new rear derailleur as well (Eagle derailleur only works with Eagle cassettes).
And I'd need a new freehub body. Would this also mean a wheel rebuild?

Yikes. True?

I’m not sure about the freehub body. the cassette might work on the one on the bike. But at any rate you wouldn’t need a wheel rebuild Even if you need a freehub body. Yes, the eagle cassette needs the eagle derailleur and I believe eagle chain. Make sure you have a chainring that matches the 12 speed SRAM parts, you’ll need to go to Praxis for that.
I began by getting the chainring, since the eagle parts are readily available, I am waiting for Rival shifters next.

If it still works I’m ok with leaving the 46 chainring. Just want the other cassette.
Must I for sure change the rear derailleur? Eagle derailleur requires Eagle cassette?

I just finished the wireless 12 speed upgrade on my Creo Comp Carbon Sl Evo. Went with eagle gt and an eagle xo 10-50 rear cassette , sram 44t front ring , rival etap shifters and sram red brakes. Works great !
Oh, I really am out of it. I never knew such a thing existed? No wires or cables to the rear?
