Tubeless???

My rims/tires were tubeless ready. I got three flats in the front on my Giant eMTB from blackberry thorns.
I went tubeless and I've pulled thorns out a couple more times with no flats. Love it.
Stans sealant, CO2 inflator, and plug kit.

I'm confused again When you go mountain biking (as opposed to roads ) do you carry a tube just in case you need it. What size CO2 cartridge do I need for a MTB tire or are they all the same?

I haven't been carrying a tube yet, and haven't felt the need so far. At 62 I'm not doing the crazy drops on trails any more. I can't remember what size my CO2 cartridge is, but get one that's good for at least 60% of your tire pressure requirements. It's just meant to get you home/back to your car.

Before you went tubeless were you using Stans (or any other sealant?

I think flats are like Russian Roulette. Tubes or not you can go months or years without a flat and then have two in the same week.

I have tubes with Slime and haven't had a flat since adding the Slime. One flat pre-Slime.

No, I was running stock tubes and tires. There's a lot of blackberry around here on the paths and trails. Maybe more than I remember before I got back into biking.
