I just purchased a new Supercommuter+ 9 2018 today in the UK. Think I got a good deal, it was equivalent of $4000. It included $210 of accessories of my choosing for free. Discount was because it was display model & had some very minor cosmetic marks, barely noticeable. I was considering a Riese & Müller Supercharger Nuvinci but the cost is outrageous. I will just buy a spare battery for this bike & keep it in my bag. It is a shame about the motor assist limit in the UK but overall the bike feels well made. I have a couple of questions to other Supercommuter owners who have the same design bike, I noticed the armour for the motor has 2 exposed cables beside it. Is this the same for everyone? I will take pictures & upload tomorrow to clarify. Also just beside the Nuvinci shifter there is a gap between the handlebar grip. With the motor armour the way it's designed it appears that during rain it could potentially trap standing water between the armour & motor at the bottom? Could just be me being silly but I would appreciate other owners feedback. Again I'll upload some images in the morning. It's past midnight here now.
