Trek Domane+ rattling noise

Rattling noise from inside my TrekDomane+ SLR6 frame, on even slightly rough pavement, is spoiling my rides. Possible causes include 1) loose internal wire connectors banging against the frame, 2) loose nut or other bit of hardware bouncing around somewhere, or 3) ?.
Looking for the forum's help with 1)and possibly 3). Anyone experience similar rattling noise? If not, I'd focus on 2). I'm prepared to have a Trek shop remove the motor and battery and have a good look inside the frame, if that's the likely solution.

Hi Rob,
I have a light rattle on rough pavement on my Domane+ SLR6 that sounds like it's coming from the headset. I have tried holding/touching various components up front (like the stem and my Elemnt Roam) while I ride but it does not diminish the sound. It could well be a cable, I think, due to the location, but hard to believe it would be so loud if it were. I have also wiggled the front forks pretty hard and can detect no play.
