Townie project is coming along! Battery?

We still haven’t assembled the bike… doing that tomorrow and installing the motor.
Here is a pic of the fender. You cant tell anything from this photo… but I’m very impressed with the results I got from rattle cans!
in case anyone is wondering… I used Montana Gold paint ( and their universal primer) with SprayMax 2k clear coat. Lots of prep work, color sanding and buffing with a buffer and compound. I did not strip the frame to bare metal prior to priming… I just sanded it till it was dull.
I’ll post updated pics when it’s finished!!

What is that lovely black Dutch Bike with the Shimano IGH 8 and roller brakes? Cool! Those are very rare. And it looks new.

I know Micah. I’ve been a pal since 2015. I have one of Micah’s battery build kits. Why you decide a video about counterfeit cells is the state of the battery sourcing is beyond comprehension. I’ve been buying cells since 2015. ZERO ISSUES NOT ONE FAKE! Sure there are horror stories but more often than not it’s some idiot going off half baked and buying cells without due diligence. None of the 6 sources I’ve used sell anything but grade a cells.
Come on fella! You are the search king and help a lot of n00bs here. I’m sorry but often the devil is in the details and that’s where experience and studying outshines repeating and cherry picking internet sources.

Please continue to post your search results. They’re helpful to even an old grump like me. But don’t expect anyone to accept them as an eBike world imprimatur.
