What's the main reason why you're not ready to put a hole in the frame? Is it because you think you might change your mind down the road on the location and/or the setup? Because certainly it's not going to hurt the frame, especially if you epoxy in a a metal insert.

Yeah, I just wasn't ready to commit to that yet, also with the bike already being built and the inner battery compartment looking like it's glued in (hiding all the wires going where I'd need to drill through) I didn't feel like messing with it yet. Maybe one of these days.

When I have time I'll add a full writeup to my build thread, but for the time being here are a couple pics of the finished product:
