I would like to custom build or purchase an ebike with:
1) Grin Tech. GMAC motor (https://ebikes.ca/product-info/grin-kits/gmac.html) for it's huge re-gen capabilities and most preferably on the rear along with Grin controller and other Grin parts, a front wheel GMAC does not seem to exist.
2) Torque sensor, Pinion E 1.8 (https://www.electricbike.com/pinion/) does not seem to exist.
3) Gates CDX drive-train.
4) Generic batteries or DIY.
5) Huge rack & gross weight capacity.
6) 27.5" wheel-set with up to 2.8" tires & appropriate fenders/mudguards.
7) Preferably with decent front suspension forks (attach faiv.de front rack or similar).

So either Pinion with Torque sensor (doesn't seem to exist) and existing GMAC motor or
Rohloff & front GMAC motor (doesn't seem to exist).
Something like a https://www.rennstahl-bikes.de/en/produkte/e-bikes/931-e-reiserad-pinion/ (don't know where/how the Torque sensor works) but with GMAC instead.
or https://tout-terrain.de/en/the-prod...on/silkroad/1328/silkroad-xplore-ii-275?c=185 with a Torque sensor - don't know how.
or https://www.rennstahl-bikes.de/en/produkte/mountainbikes/931-mtb-rohloff-english/ but with a front GMAC which does not exist.

Is it like the un-reachable Holy Grail?

No, It's quite obtainable but not for purchase off the shelf. E bike expedition unsupported travel currently does not exist. and neither do the bikes. You will likely find no hits on the internet. Your most difficult issue will be number 5, Huge gross weight and rack space. The biggest obstacle you need to overcome is the fact that its a damned bicycle and therefore weight limited due to parts. The more capable the bike is the more it weighs. The more it weighs the more battery capacity you need. The more battery capacity you need the less space you have to put your kit. You will likely tow a trailer.
The second problem that you have is that you will be touring alone. There is virtually no one else out there doing this. Your solution is to build two bikes. Even then you will need to convince someone else to go.
The third problem is getting the bike to where you intend to use it. Shipping an e bike with a large battery system is very difficult It's easier to rent a vehicle one way but that excludes crossing large ponds to ride.
I have built a bike for this purpose but it's not perfect and I would do it differently. now. That said, I intend to do the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route in Summer of 2022. One of the advantages of an e bike is dispatch. I plan on doing it in about 30-35 days. That is too fast for more non electric bikes. I expect to ride it alone.

I was trying to get a GMAC from Pushkar, wasn’t possible last I know when I got my mid drive before July. I wish I could remember why , probably current frame choices …no good torque sensor available for it either. Please post if any progress towards build

Hah, well said, i keep digressing from these facts :)
