Thanks for this. I honestly didn't know it was dangerous. I had my battery on charge all winter in our laundry room. Yes I protected it from lint but never realized it was such a risk. I just figured the battery would discharge over time and I wanted the bike ready to ride when I was. It's unplugged now and will remain that way from now on. Thanks again.
