The “2,000Km Teardown” is the name we’re giving, to the short film we’re creating, about the 2,000Km* road test of the PAPERBOY® ebike which we conducted during the British winter of 2020 / 21.

Looks like it never got the backing it needed and they refunded backers. Though, lots of comments asking when the backers will get their refund and if it was a scam. Bummer, I really liked the game, but not that old lady in a moomoo running me down with her rolling in. Between her and the damn kid with the RC car, I’ll never deliver these papers.

Tomar inspiración del mundo de los videojuegos le da a la geometría del vehículo un toque retrofuturista súper original. Me pone a pensar en cómo el diseño de juegos influye en tantos aspectos de los productos modernos y el ocio digital. En mi tiempo libre, tras una larga ruta en bici, me gusta explorar juegos web interactivos que usen buenos motores de física. Hace poco estuve navegando y me encontré con dinámicas físicas muy creativas en su catálogo. Simply amazing! I especially like the connection between the simple utility of a lightweight commuter bike and the playful design influence from the old game. It seems like a practical approach for someone who wants an easy bike for everyday trips without going for a heavy setup packed with features. The balance between weight, range, and overall simplicity would probably be the most important things to consider in real-world use.
