Swapping battery when buying

Has anyone ever opted to buy the larger capacity battery for their Como 4?

I wonder if it’s possible to pay the dealer the difference $ to swap for the higher capacity 600 watt over the stock 500 watt.

Going to talk to the dealer on Tuesday when they open back up and just wanted to see if anyone’s done it and the price difference.

I’d be surprised if this was ever the case as it would undermine the sales strategy to up sell based on model levels. At times I fall into dwelling on the second guessing buying a lower level....if you feel this will spoil your purchase and the money isn’t the issue, just buy the 5.0 and never look back. (Until next years model comes out).

I can't speak for Specialized but my Pedego dealer swapped the standard 10ah battery on the bike I bought with a larger 15ah for just the retail cost difference. The bike and battery were new at the time however. Doing this after the sale with a used battery would be more difficult.
