Among the changes they are introducing Bafang BBS02 powered ebike versions they will ship to the US, and switched to using disc brakes. All good changes. The Breezer Powertrip is an OK town bike, but even with the larger 500wh battery IMO it's not worth $1,000 more than competitors like the Gazelle Medeo T9 HMB step through that uses the same Bosch Active Line Plus motor. For the same $3,500 MSRP of the Breezer you could get a 2021 Cube Nuride Hybrid Pro 500 Allroad which is an upgraded trekking type town & trail model with a 100mm sprung fork v 63mm; Bosch Gen 4 CX (85nm) vs Bosch Active Line Plus (50nm); much wider range cassette for hill climbing; larger brake rotors; wider tires; integrated powertube battery pack; etc).
