@PedalUmaI finished the $120 bike. It just went out the door. It has a throttle and a torque sensor. One final detail not shown is he wanted a bell, so I included a Pride Bell from Public Bikes. I was given the original prototype for this design a few years ago. I only owned it for about one hour and gave it to a person who was feeling down on the train. It didn't cost me anything, but it made his day and as far as I know it is still one of his most prized possessions. The $120 bike owner is super happy. Again, I am not the customer. I wouldn't want to invest in a $120 bike or ride with a Pride Bell.
Okay, so I'm a little bit jealous. I bought a Sedona DX in a medium, but it ended up being too big for me. Since Sedona has been discontinued, I went to ebay and found a Cypress DX in a small That one fits. Next I grabbed the 26" wheels off the Sedona DX and put them on the Cypress DX. Perfect! Nice 2.3" tires. Now I just have to build it up. But they put water bottle mounts in the seat tube, and the giant suspension seat post was shortened accordingly. Unfortunately that means I can't add an after market suspension seatpost, like the Satori. But even as it is, with the 26" wheels and the ARS seat, it's a really good riding bike, and very easy to dial in!!!
Oh, I don't have a bell yet! Ha!
