I have a couple of scratches on the bike, and the rear carrier.
How to fix it, alone at minimal cost.
How is the aluminum material, do they have some correction markers or something like that?
What is the catalog number of colors Vado 2019 6.0 gray?

I would not fix scratches (nobody's doing that). The material is aluminium alloy that is rust-free. Regarding the rack, wrap the parts where you attach the pannier or bag with good black adhesive tape to prevent more wear.

I sometimes use a marker of similar color and go over the bare aluminum.

Which color Igor, Storm Grey? I read somewhere that the following colors should match but I didn't tested it yet myself:
RAL 5024 Pastellblau (Alex Flittner Designs Lackstift RAL 5024 Pastellblau matt - but maybe a bit to bright)
or
Mercedes 5534 Mediumblau

I use Revell Aqua Color black matt acryl paint 36108 [for model building] for my Vado (black matt, you wouldn't believe it, would you?)

Works fine.

Is it a matt grey? Then you could start with this colour:

I agree with Stefan. Don’t obsess about it too much and go out and enjoy your new ride. I already have scratches on my Trance from a recent ride and won’t be losing any sleep over it. Now where did I put that bottle of detailing spray.

Got the 'lo bat' sign today. Those batteries are not cheap. Was going to get one for spare but decided against that. And I now see they are $5 for a 10 pack on amazon. I payed $5 for one

I agree with Stefan. Don’t obsess about it too much and go out and enjoy your new ride. I already have scratches on my Trance from a recent ride and won’t be losing any sleep over it. Now where did I put that bottle of detailing spray.

Stuff I've used for scratches and itty bitty dings:
- Gray or black magic marker. Gray is better for matt black
- Nail polish from dollar stores. Cheap enough to get a few bottles and you can practice matching exact color.

Scratches on MTB's are badges of honour - on "road" bikes perhaps not...
My opinion of course, and perhaps it's just my way of justifying the finish on my bike that's less than a year old...

Various e-Bikes I Will Not Buy (Or, In The Specialized Brand Store Warsaw)

Vado SL (front: 4.0 EQ back: 5.0 non-EQ). The one in the front would be for me if I could afford it. Not in this year!

Levo Comp. Notice very small chainring, making the e-bike a climber. I won't buy it after I acquired Trance E+ 2 Pro. Interestingly, components of the Specialized e-MTB are very similar to what you get with the Giant one.

Another Levo. Wrong colour! (They had a beautiful celadon one, too).

Kenevo. Too much of a bike!

If you ride it downhill, you drop the seat and ride standing on the pedals, with the backside above the rear wheel

Getting ready. Testing weight/capacity. I got my 2 500 w Jackery power supply units today. One came 40% charged. The other 36% charged. Also got the Rockpals 100 w upgraded solar panel. Just the tent and solar panel in backpack weigh 20 pounds. One power supply unit half fills one pannier at 13 pounds. The actual capacity of battery pack is 553 watts not 518 with the newer unit underspecified. Probably will go with just one battery pack and rely on solar/and AC charging ports along the way to free up weight. Testing tomorrow 70 mile total round trip with 1800 + elevation to Woodland Hills bike shop and back. Report back my findings. As far as I know no one has tried charging or topping off their ebike from Jackery mobile. I've just seen them charging when stationary. I'm going to pad and cushion it as much as I can within the pannier to cut down vibration.

To the point. First the bad. Absolutely cannot charge the battery while riding.Also, AC charging the Jackery is slow 84 w consistently. Like charging with 2 a charger. The good news is the Jackery 500 will charge the Vado at over 170 w + continuously about twice the rate it takes the Jackery to charge from AC at 84 watts consistently. I pulled over at starbucks after riding 19.5 miles carrying 40 + pound load on my rack, at an average rate of 16 MPH with 53 % battery remaining (1157 elevation gain) at 9 am. It took approximately one hour to charge the Vado from Jackery to 90%, with Jackery showing 55 % battery remaining. After riding another 15.66 miles battery dropped from 90 to 43 %. Charged Vado back up with remaining power from Jackery to 80%. I did this with MC default settings.35/100, 75/100,100,100 the entire way. With just the Vado battery same route/distance. I'll have 33%-52% battery remaining at 15/35,25,55,70/75. Depending how much I pedal unassisted.
I think one 500 w (closer to 553 w actual capacity) battery pack is a great alternative to buying a second battery at less than half the price of a spare 600 w battery. Basically, you'll be paying less than 1 dollar a watt. $450.00 total taxes included. I don't know why the output rate is twice the input. I think above 170 w consistently is considered fast charging. About the same with the 4a unit, maybe faster. My other Jackery unit is fully charged in my other Pannier unused. I haven't tried the Rockpal 100 w Solar panel yet but if you buy 2 80 w Rockpals and run them parellel you can charge the Jackery at 100 w consistently with clear sky. So, I believe 2 100 w parellel would be more. They come with the adapter to run parellel if you want. Those are my findings so far. I highly recommend based on Jackery's output ability. Not to mention its portability and usefulness to other appliances.

@ Stefan Mike's. Turbo Vado 6.0 $4000.00 + Tax. Comes stock with Electrak 2.0 Armadillos. Has that BLOK display. (Upgradeable) Still that is pretty cheap for a class 3 Vado 6.0?
