I could get lifts for my shoes.drop it another 30-40% and maybe
I'm a medium so well out of my size range.i am perversely sort of tempted to get the s-works one and sell mine, as much as i love it!! the gearing is way shorter at the low end, and i’d get electronic shifting and a wheel upgrade too
I can smell the smoke up here. Oh, wait, that's forest fire smoke!realistically... i'll probably spend maybe 3.5k upgrading this bike over the years. wheels, rear cassette, cockpit... if i sold the one i have (which is of course now worth a bit less with the discount on new ones hahah) and bought the new top of the line one that i wouldn't upgrade, i'd still be out 4k or so more than keeping mine and upgrading it. probably better to spend that 4k on another, more different bike!
(wheels turning...)
Agree.drop it another 30-40% and maybe
Specialized work worldwide on the same principle (distributor - dealer). The difference to the United States is you may order your e-bike online, and it will be shipped to your dealer. Of course, the special offer is limited to the U.S.Is this a US offer only? Is Specialized acting there as a dealer (like Canyon in Germany)?
There is no such offer on the german Specialized website and I also never heard of Specialized reducing just special sizes. But Specialized is not selling here directly to end customers, you always have to order at shops/LBS. Also there aren't any special offers for certain sizes.
I just got an email from Specialized yesterday about this offer. I'm in the US. I do find their online sales a bit unusual but as Stefan says, you buy online but it is shipped to your local store for built-up and/or tuning where you pick it up. It is not direct to consumer. They do this with other items, too. I ordered the Range Extender cable and I would have gotten it direct but had it sent to the local shop as I did just last week with two Mirror saddles (the total price meant I did not want it on my porch) so had them send to the shop. I presume in the case of bikes, that Specialized does give the shop something on the sale price. I don't think that happens with accessories. The shop did not know I ordered saddles. Is this a US offer only? Is Specialized acting there as a dealer (like Canyon in Germany)?

That policy on RE did a 180° turn in Japan - order online and shipped to me directly. What is interesting is that for the Range Extender Battery (lithium), you can only order from the shop. You cannot order that online.
Maybe their partnership pitch with the NBA didn’t work outI didn't even know they had XXL sizes.
