Austin A40(?) pickup , with left hand drive! Can't be many of those around. I suppose more in Canada than in the US since it's in the commonwealth.

Too bad it's not parked next to a F250 for a sense of scale

This is an interesting Bike/people elevator to get over the 4 sets of train tracks the steps also have V groves to make pushing a bike up and down the steps easier. I don't need it often but this train was really long and stopped. It's a pain getting a bike down the steps as you have to use the brakes so much. walk mode will get it up. but the elevator is more fun.

Yep, but you're guess is as good as mine as to how long the winter wheels will stay on. We hit a high yesterday of +7C so even though it was great weather wise, the virtual slush fest had me off the trails. This morning it dropped down to -3C and the conditions were near perfect though getting to the trail head would have been a bit sketchy without the ISPs.

Regardless, it was a nice to be out whether it was on two wheels or blades.

That A40 model was called the Devon. I don't think it came out with that pickup rear. It was gut-less and very quickly got
up to valve-bounce.
We have a set of steps with the groove to wheel your bike up. However the idiot who designed it put the groove at the right hand end of the steps. Useless. The uprights for the handrail interfere with the peddles and handlebars.

this truck got stuck across the bike path and backing up is trick with the posts and the grass covered dip right there.
Monday I watched them setup to shoot a movie. we get a ton of that here in portland then a crash two blocks later. the excitement never ends.

Sunset based on color gradient and lack of visible smoke. But fire's pretty plausible at first glance.
