Show Us Your Bikes

@usclassic, How is that saddle? I just made this one electric and put a Boulevard 205 saddle on it. Moments ago it had three kids in the front bathtub. The trike weighs 115 pounds, then there is the cargo. I had to turn it up to 1,200W to feel it pull and made sure the temp sensor is on. That will put it into limp mode while it cools if it overheats.
Thats so cute

My daughter is happy with her saddle I asked to put it on her gravel bike when she brought it over for a tune up as it wasn't shifting right. Nothing serious just a stretched cable easy adjustment. So sending them to you works best for me as I have no local ebike buddies.

Best saddle I have tried so far.......The Cup

There’s a few in the garage, so we’ll start with these…

Trek Fetch 2. I beat on it like a rented mule. It hauls groceries, beer, other bicycles and even scrap metal. I’d feel sorry for it if it wasn’t so much fun.

and yes, that is a genuine Trek cow bell on the back. A perk of working for them.

the Gazelle Populair. This thing has rod operated, linked drum brakes and is mostly steel. At 57 pounds it outweights most of the e-bikes at our shop in spite of being an “analog” ride. Yup… no motor.

my tracer 25ds. i just got a new brooks saddle for it. its my first e bike and i use it as a way to help me get around since i have bad legs now. i try to stay off the roads and just ride the old railroad grade behind my house to get out a bit. ive collected pedal bikes a long time and i just cant ride like i want anymore. this e bike is a real breath of fresh air

I have done three Pashley modern gravel bikes. @fritz katzenjammer, that Gazelle is a forever bike and a classic. Here is a video of how those Pashley bikes are handcrafted. It is part 1 of 5 where he finally rides the bike. It starts with a factory tour. It is a super innovative high-tech gravel bike but with that handmade tradition. From pipe to bike.

I made this Dutch classic electric with a mid-drive in the Spring of 2019.

aka.... Granny bike
A granny bike or opoefiets is a certain simple ladies' bicycle .
Until my olives shrivel and fall off.... I'll pass. 🙃
But the ride is soooooo nice on these things…

here’s my much love opafiets ( grampa bike ) For those days when the fast stuff just doesn’t cut it.

and while we are on non “e” bikes ( is this even allowed?! ) here’s my old CCM.

every time I ride it I’m comforted by the fact that the original tires ( from 1939 ) were replaced with much safer, newer tires sometime in the 1950s.

I can appreciate the simplicity and nostalgia.
