Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

I used postimages.org for my Mazda forum for free for Years, then out of nowhere they decided to start charging $100 a year for the service, and held everyone's pictures hostage.

I managed to get in to postimages the day it happened before I was locked out, and downloaded all my 100's of photos.

I'm pretty sure that I could choose whether a picture was private or was linked to all the others or not?

So why can't this forum do all that compressing stuff for us?

Am I missing something or what?

They could just mention in the rules or whatever that all photos will be resized to fit.

Why is this our responsibility ?
I suck at technology and had no idea that my photos were gargantuan.
I just took a picture and posted it.

When I send a picture with a text message, the picture automatically gets resized, and I don't have to think about it.

I don't like to think about or learn stuff that doesn't interest me.
Isn't there supposed to be AI crap to take care of s*it like this?
Are you sure you're not talking about Photobucket? That happened to me there as well...

Are you sure you're not talking about Photobucket? That happened to me there as well...

Opps, sorry. That's right.

This is the thread I made about replacing the high pressure fuel filter on my rust turd,..

I managed to replace the main pictures in the first couple of posts with the pics that I downloaded from Photobuck after the highjacking and ransom request but all the pics afterwards are X'ed out.

That's when I started using postimages.org to host my pictures, and they've been fine.

All those pictures are still visible in my posts and they never asked for money.

Photobucket now legally owns all my pictures that they hosted and some pictures are still visible but they all have a "Photobucket" watermark in the picture.

I just had a huge download file of all my pictures and didn't know what pictures went with what post, so I just posted them at the end of my "Unbuild Thread",..

I think that as an experiment, everyone who reads this should click on the above link and look at all my full size high resolution pictures to see if we can crash the Mazda forum or if the administrator of the forum tells me to stop messing with his server costs.

I'll bet you any money (fake money of course) that Antoine would be happy to see traffic on his forum?

Forums are dying off.
It's all about Facebook and YouTube now.

So anyway,..

I've got a bunch of cool pictures from my rides last year, but I was hesitant to post them because I keep getting in trouble.

Not just here on this forum, but on the road where people have been cutting me off and spraying gravel at me on the road when they pass me and hit the the gas as they're fishtailing back and forth ten feet in front of me.
That's worse than being coal rolled.
I'm glad I always wear my goggles.

I didn't want to feed into the negativity, so I stopped posting pics on this thread.

Here's a few pictures that bring back some happy memories,..
(I took screenshots of my original pictures and cropped them.
I hope I cropped them enough to not piss anyone off ??)

I realized that most of my issues on the road were at harvest time when I'd stop to take pictures of the crops.

The farmers thought that I was specing out their feilds to steal stuff.
One farmer blew through a stop sign right in front of me and cut me off.
He was waiting for me.
I had to hammer both brakes and I skidded the rear wheel to not get hit.

It was shortly afterward that I realized the value of the crops, and how suspicious I looked taking pictures.

This is a huge pile of sugar beets just after being harvested by a machine similar to a potato picker,..

Most people think sugar comes from sugar cane, but most of it grows underground. 😂

And these are thousands of sweet red peppers that cost a buck a piece at retail prices.
Or $4 each with the new tariffs. 😂

WTF is wrong with people... cutting you off and spraying gravel? Yikes!

I was riding along a back country gravel road last fall and approached a pickup truck parked at the side of the road.

There was a lady in the field that saw me approaching and started running back to her truck with two recyle bags Full of hot tomatoes 🍅
(As in stolen, she didn't add the spice yet. 😂)

She got into her truck just as I started to pass her then Hit The Gas, and sped up to pass me back.

Farmers used to have unscrupulous peoples plant pot plants in their corn fields.
You could smell the weed growing by the side of the road.

It's all legal now so everyone in Canada grows pot for fun or shits & giggles. 🤭 😂

People are getting paranoid about being filmed and I can understand why in many cases, Im a lot more careful of what I film and I might just setup my old session 5 mini gopro under the visor for those situations.

People are getting paranoid about being filmed ,..

I was at the "bridge" ten years ago, jumping out of this tree when a girl was filming me to post it on Snapchat,..

20210824_003631.jpg

It was 40 feet to the river below, but that's not when she was filming me.

I had a small mickey of Vodka in my pocket so I could quaff a swig to get up the courage to climb the tree and jump.

I was on the bridge and took a swig of my Vodka, but it had been in the sun and was almost Hot 🔥

I took the swig and quickly barfed up all over the bridge.
I looked up to see the girl holding her phone and laughing.
I said "Did you just film that ?"

She did, and then posted it to Snapchat and all the the local kids, and the entire world saw me barf on the bridge.

It doesn't matter though, cuz all the videos delete themselves after a day or two and There Is NO WAY to EVER Save the video with any technology available now or then.

I'm sure there's still a copy of me barfing on the bridge.
But I don't mind.
I'm kinda proud of it.

I can barf up a storm, then just get over it and climb a tree to jump again.

Keep Your Booze Out Of The Sun.
Hot Vodka Tastes Barfy. 😂

The tree has since fallen into the river, but I can still go barf on the bridge any time I want.
I'll have to film it myself now though.

Nobody goes to swim at the Bridge anymore with that barfy brown water and dead tree in the way. 😂
