Took a little tour of Barnston Island on the Fraser River. It requires a short ferry ride to get there. If you can call a tugboat and a barge a ferry:

I've ridden to that ferry dock a few times but never bothered with the ferry ride over/back. Nice!

It's worth it. I just park for free at the ferry landing, jump on the barge, do the island, return and do Surrey Bend afterwards. No cost for parking or the ferry.

Another day riding some of Vermont‘s hidden treasures. There are lots of places to explore. Without the eBikes, I would be exploring them alone. My wife doesn’t mind the climbs any more and I get to share this wonderful place. These are taken between Hartland and Brownsville Vermont by way of a small town that no longer exists except for an intersection of gravel roads, (Jenneville).

Rode on the rail trail, I posted many pictures of my exclusive trails and it started to look boring.
Today's picture is Da James Bond Submarine Car. Made in England.
Ironically I am on James Campbell property.

not much sleep last night so i was up 3 ish .i decided to be out the door early and beat the heat ,want to go over to Barnard castle as i was told there was an other crossing point as the last few times we had a couple of close calls with cars trying to beat us over the light controlled bridge :cursing::cursing: .
just the usual way to Barny. once there i found the crossing point and there was steps ,not good with 60+lbs e-bike,but i bit of thinking outside the box and it was easy peasy .
the return leg was the same as normal route back as i wanted to beat the sun.. as it was getting very warm , managed to get 44 miles in and think i need to get more early rides in as lack of traffic was brill.

I like the stream gauge that shows the water depth.

If this doesn't put a smile on your face, you're not a true ebiker. 3 more miles of bikeway along side the train.
Notice the white gravel? It's function is to illuminate the path when riding nightime, there are no overhead lights through this parts.
Edit; White gravel also serves as an erosion control barrier. At night though it makes the path more visible. Beyond the path still under construction are miles and miles of gravel and hard pack dirt trails but I've posted lots of pictures of it already
Im just really thrilled with the new bikeway.

First up is the Seymour Valley Trailway and Spur 4 loop...













It takes around 45 mins to an hour to get up to the Seymour Dam. This holds a lot of the potable/drinking water for the area.





From the dam, the trail to Spur 4 gravel road is relatively short but very steep. Stopping on it would be a mistake. At least 3 times my front wheel wanted to lift off the trail.





Made it to the top...







The Stance with the Maxxis Rekon tires was made for this type of ride. Very smooth even on -12 descents on gravel.

That looks like an awesome ride Dave. It’s got a bit of everything but the conifer lined roads and trails are what make it so appealing. Everything grows big out on the west coast.

It was a lot of fun! Strange/more exciting as I had never done it before.
The first half (on the way up) was all paved. Although a week day it was still relatively busy, and there were quite a number of road bikes, but they were all about the out and back on the pavement. A crap ton of ebikes as well.
The second half/Spur 4 was a pile of fun. All gravel, and the downhills were exhilarating! Almost nobody on it except for a couple of service vehicles.
And as you point out, the view didn't suck either!

My son had a day off today as well so we both ventured out. Decided on the Greenway to Tynehead as he had not done that yet.
On the way was a curious object on the side of the path.
A small stand with hand sanitizer, and a lit incense stick...



Looks like an invite to "C'mon in" to... uh... I dunno...



Michael Jackson was blaring out the stereo there, so we... um... GTFO.
I don't look good in a dress anyway.



Stopped for some water, but didn't sit down as the table absolutely covered with ants.

Great ride followed by lunch at A&W for a Teen burger. Haven't had one for eons...

I got my ridiculous bike the other day from the shop, I had the tech put Hawaiian salt and spices, German made controller to make the motor crank out 1900w. It's loud as f*ck and fast 30+mph is easily attainable on flats with barely no pedal resistance. It is practically like a dirt bike with pedals.

I rode the ridiculous ebike to work today after I had the controller makeover to the German brand and a few other changes.
And we hi- jacked a container load of Jetson ebikes for the kids in the neighborhood.
I picture my lunch blessin my food.

Someone needs to come up with a bike hop tray so you won’t have to dismount.

For me I think it’s the head of frothy bubbles that are created once that ice cream hits the soda. It’s the perfect summer treat. My wife hates root beer but loves the orange Creamsicle version.
