Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

Best ride of the year so far thanks to a change in the weather, just over 50 very enjoyable miles in the sun :D It started a bit chilly but that's to be expected at this time of year, I was well wrapped up for it of course! Light winds today so I headed for the hills to get my workout, just over 4,000 ft of climbing and some lovely descents:D I went a little overboard with pics today but it was just too beautiful not to capture it...;)

It was good to put the corona virus to the back of my mind and enjoy my day, I reserved the afternoon to take dad out for a drive to lift his spirits at this difficult time! I think it helped a little, at almost 92 years old he struggled through winter to be met with the worry of this awful virus:( I hope everyone is staying safe out there!

You're my hero, @RabH! When all that virus craze is over, I and my girlfriend Brix intend to see some Scotland. Perhaps we could have a pint or two with you?

Funny you should say that because you are my hero too :D I don't actually drink at all and never have, unusual for a Scotsman I know:p I'm sure you would both love Scotland when the weather is nice:) Unfortunately almost all of my free time is taken up with looking after dad so meeting up would be difficult:( Never say never though, maybe one day:)

The spring break hordes descended on the OR coast starting Friday and by Saturday were being asked to leave.....My living situation is quite isolated here and plan on keeping it that way for awhile. At least it has a nice view.

We have been on lockdown since Monday night but thankfully we are allowed to excercise once a day, walking, running or cycling is permitted! No prizes for guessing what I chose ;) I wasn't sure about going very far given the circumstances but I decided to do another 50 miler as the roads were extremely quiet, it really was surreal:eek: It was amazing to go for a ride with very little traffic around but I would much rather have things back to normal...I didn't take many photos today, it just didn't seem appropriate...

Has the "Cold Ivan" hit Scotland too, @RabH? Frost at nights, cold wind on daytime. Brrrr. NOT RIDING! Although the empty roads are tempting.

Since one exercise outing is allowed in Poland, too, I may take a 2x25 mile trip on the coming weekend @RabH. There is a young programmer, cyclist and amateur car mechanic Antek on the other side of the Vistula River. I promised he would ride my Vado. He wants to convince his Mum to get herself an e-bike. I hope the family is well-to-do as I believe Giant Dailytour would be just fantastic e-bike for her. Fully automatic PAS, automatic lights and simple IGH gears, true low-step innit.

Sounds like fun Stefan but you shouldn't be making contact with others during the lockdown?

Good comment!
Giving up that idea, @RabH. Will do a ride around Warsaw City to take photos of the deserted town instead.

I decided to cut my ride to 37 miles today, I think 2 hours is about right in the current climate! It was very misty up in the hills so my plan to do a double loop was changed mid ride and it was much more enjoyable lower down! My 2020 total now stands at 944 miles from 19 rides giving me an average of 49.68 miles! Something I noticed today is the dog walkers are now using the roads much more due to the lack of road traffic, no doubt they are making use of the open space which is very sensible given the current situation!

We did about 20mi riding around the Ocklawaha Prairie Wildlife Mgt area this morning. As fate would have it, friends who went (also on Ecotric's ) used their phones for some nice shots, including a beautiful bald eagle. Naturally the one I took faced the wooded side of the hard pack dirt road, the other side is the Prairie. This has enough Backcountry to even do an overnighter with a small primitive campground near the trail head. This is truly "Real Florida", delightful spin.
