Gluing the magnets on one of those kits? Attaching the cable? Probably takes more time to think it out for good looks than to do the glue. I just bought some to be used with hydraulic brake levers. I've yet to install the hydraulics. Something to look forward to in Spring, as I like working on stuff.

Motor will shut off unless the ground wire pulls out of the throttle connector or water gets in there. Then it's full throttle. Seen both.

Anyway, changing to trigger shifter is just above installing a throttle for complexity on an ebike. Both require removal of levers and stuff and trial/error placement. For some bikes, pulling off the hand grip can be a major effort, taking the most time.

Not so bad if you have access to an air-compressor. A blast of air and they come right off!

I destroyed a pottery piece with a handgrip missile. Knocked it right off the shelf.
