Searching for Chain Ring With Bash Ring

Saw This on Court's Review of the Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra FS. Looks like a great idea. Both to keep pants legs out of the chain and for protecting the chain and chain ring from strikes. I've searched some parts suppliers but cannot find it anywhere. Be nice to get a NarrowWide ring to go with. Can anyone help a guy out? Much thanks.

I (think) I remember seeing setups like this years ago on downhill bikes when my sons were still racing in their early college years. These bikes used 1x drive trains but didn't have wide-narrow chain rings then. The 'sandwich' around the chain ring would act as a chain guide with the outer plate doing double duty as a bash guard. With the advent of wide-narrow chain rings this configuration seems to have disappeared as an after market part setup.

I'm guessing that this is a custom spider and a standard chain ring sandwiched between two MTB style bash guards that serve the same purposes as the older downhill setups I (think) I remember. You may need to combine some parts to get something similar. I'm thinking you probably wouldn't need the inner plate...

What bike do you have? Sourcing chainring guards is a little complicated; it needs to fit the bolt pattern and bolt circle diameter (BCD) of the crank. Real bash guards of the circular style are no longer common; often the ones you see on inexpensive bikes are not bash guards at all; they are too wimpy in construction and are merely to keep pants from getting dirty.

While I wouldnt consider them true bashguards, I have something like this on my iZIP moda E3(inner and outer) and on my Juiced CCX (outer only with an inner plastic thing on the seatube to keep the chain from dropping). For an inner to work, you need to have ALOT of chainstay clearance which isnt common on alot of bikes although they might work with the long bitrix chainstays.

I forget all the search terms I used to search for these a few months back but I was able to find both inner and outer as long as I knew the BCD spacing and chainring size.

I don't have it yet. Reportedly it is somewhere in a container out in the Pacific. It's a rebadged Frey AM 1000 I bought from Bolton Ebikes.
