Ride 1 Up vs Espin Sport and Flow

As the owner of 2 Sports, I am intrigued by the Ride 1 700- especially now since they are both now at the same price point. I am considering the step thru version. Any comments from current owners?

Taylor, Espin just came out with a new 2021 flow.

I saw that. My concern is that I have ordered two Sports and even though they were both supposed to come with identical parts, they didn't. I had to buy new tires for Sport 2. Would have same concern ordering a Flow. I like the fact that for the same price, the 700 seems to come with very similar components and better tires...

I'm sure you've heard me mention the 700's kickstand location being too far forward issue before (snags the crank when pulled backwards). Until they get those pictures changed showing the new location, I would want to confirm that change before buying one.

Hello - I am also trying to decide between the Sport/Flow and the R1U 700. they seem pretty comparable but just found out the Espins are rated class 2 and can no longer be updated to class 3 per their support on the 2021 model. anyone having any issues with their sport/flow as a class 2? i do prefer the colors of the Espins over the 700 but that isnt enough for me to choose one over the other.

So what is max speed now on the 2021 Sport and Flow. My 2020 Sport maxs out at 28mph on level ground, pedaling hard...

they say 20 now but are saying they gave up speed for torque to get up the hills.
I rarely go over 20. Normal cruising speed for me on flat ground is around 18mph in PAS 3. Getting it up to 25 is not real hard in PAS 5, however to get to 28 requires some pretty serious pedaling...

I got 2 shipping tracking numbers from Frey. One shows it has departed Hong Kong and the Fed X Tracking number says pending and shows it is coming to Palm Springs from Pittsburg PA. Weird...
