This ebike style has never been made for pedalling. Try to pedal while sitting on a sofapeddling doesnt increase the range much
I think that's why I can never find a new cruiser that fits exactly. This ebike style has never been made for pedalling. Try to pedal while sitting on a sofa![]()
You really had bad luck with your broken frame (that was you, right)? I think if I were you I’d try to get some joy from the manufacturer, but if you’re gonna’ replace, it depends on what kind of bike you are looking for.Thinking of replacing the Mukkpet Ninja with a Ride1up Revv1. Anyone with experience w/ the Revv1?
very salient reply,if you want an emoped get one-get one that costs 2-3 x more from a shop and I sincerely believe durability shall be satisfied the cookie cutter DTC bikes are always a gamble,of the cheaper brands with dealer support ecotric for instance can be somewhat satisfying maxfoot are pretty responsive to issues, some of these DTC vendors are crickets.I have nothing against a moped ebikes so I'll chime in. Reach out to each company with a simple question. See how long, or even if, they reply. For me its: No Support, No Buy. Both of these are DTC ebikes so support is already limited. I've never heard of Mukkpet so there's that. Ride1Up I've obviously heard of but I always get a Juiced vibe from them. So reach out with a simple question and see what type of response you get.

Something to factor into your calculation...Thinking of replacing the Mukkpet Ninja with a Ride1up Revv1. Anyone with experience w/ the Revv1?
greetings Scooter,I would be too self consious to ride an emoped, might get used to it,did something stupid and bought another trike( don't why I did that still cant ride the things) now I am going to try to place it in a bike shop for a commission sale( or outright purchase-be happy to get half my money bike) the electric tool company )EZGO I believe has a minibike that takes the same batteries as its mowers and power tools which would be very convenient I went electric on most of my yard tools and never going back to petrol!I went to our local ocean front (Virginia Beach) over the weekend and I saw so many emopeds! I saw a Ariel Rider Grizzly, a few Ride1Up Revv's and so many other models. I also saw a few Surrons being ridden as ebikes. The police didn't even bat an eye as long as the rider wasn't acting a fool. I still might get myself a emoped one day. The new Ariel Rider models are out now! I'd still check your local law and see if a emoped type bike will be an issue in your area. As much as I'd be happy with something 20mph my wife has been riding with me on the RadRunner all over the place and a bit of extra power would be nice. Suspension would be nice as well.
I just replaced all my old Kobalt battery equipment because Kobalt quit supporting my battery platform. I could have purchased some China EZ Zap batteries from Amazon but just went ahead and replaced my mower, trimmer combo and blower with STIHL equipment. But the EGO brand was VERY tempting because they also sell a minibike that uses the same batteries as their lawn equipment. But I trust the STIHL brand and have confidence they will support their products into the foreseeable future.greetings Scooter,I would be too self consious to ride an emoped, might get used to it,did something stupid and bought another trike( don't why I did that still cant ride the things) now I am going to try to place it in a bike shop for a commission sale( or outright purchase-be happy to get half my money bike) the electric tool company )EZGO I believe has a minibike that takes the same batteries as its mowers and power tools which would be very convenient I went electric on most of my yard tools and never going back to petrol!
If you lived as I do in a place with lots of Surron-like machines doing motorcycle things on bikeways, MUPs, and trails, you'd realize that it's not a blue state thing.I think it's only a matter of time before blue states in the USA come to a common definition for e-bikes beyond Class 2.
I don't disagree with anything you said. We have our share of electric dirt bikes here, too.If you lived as I do in a place with lots of Surron-like machines doing motorcycle things on bikeways, MUPs, and trails, you'd realize that it's not a blue state thing.
Motorcycles were banned from bikeways long before ebikes came along, and for good reason. Nearly everyone understood that. So why let e-motorcycles in those places now?
I have no sympathy for a parent who lets a 14-something male on a Surron loose on the world. And no sympathy for manufacturers and dealers who sold them as legal ebikes.
I do it every day. But you are correct about his bike style. This ebike style has never been made for pedalling. Try to pedal while sitting on a sofa![]()
Lots of kids around here on gas powered dirtbikes, too... the difference is that everybody knows they're not street legal. You see them on the roads occasionally, but mainly just quickly zipping between their house and the start of an old woods road.I have no sympathy for a parent who lets a 14-something male on a Surron loose on the world. And no sympathy for manufacturers and dealers who sold them as legal ebikes.
was trying out my battery powered ryobl tiller today, maybe it was the conditions it sure didn't impress me,OTH I don't need a tiller very often,so maybe I will get used to it,wish Ryobi would make a battery powered ebike, this tiller has 4-12 ah batteries with it,already have a blower and string trimmer, very pleased with them( also 40 volts)I just replaced all my old Kobalt battery equipment because Kobalt quit supporting my battery platform.
