Newbie. Ancheer 26" folding mountain bike. Believe motor has a short - it "stutters" when hit throttle but no power.

I'm trying to find replacement motor which would work inside the existing wheel hub - wheel has plastic spokes.

Serial number on motor is PY36V26"250W21040343. Seems like a 36V, 250 watt, planetary gear motor.

Pictures below. Thanks for any guidance !!!!

I wouldn't spend a dime on an ancheer bike. The one Court tested burned the controller before his test was completed. Salvage the battery and convert a $25 beater from a charity resale shop with a power wheel. I've used ebikeling power wheels, from Chicago area.

I remember that Ancheer that burned up. Court didn''t burn it up. He loaned it to a fool who was trying to set up a bike test regime. The guy insisted on seeing how fast it could climb his test hill. Heck, when the motor stalls, you don't keep flogging it til it melts.

Meanwhile, unless Ancheer sells him a whole new wheel/motor, the only recourse I see is to buy a geared motor with a spoked wheel, probably something used with a 26" wheel, He'll have spokes on back and the mags up front. Unless you can find a used one for 100-150 bucks, it's not worth buying a new one.
.
Or join an Ancheer forum on facebook. Maybe someone got sent a spare motor he didn't need. Walmart used to send out spare motors when someone reported broken spokes.

That's a nice find for a 250W motor at $113 shipped. Ask a bike shop what they charge to put a 36" rim on it,. For me, it's aout $70 in parts and an evening of spoking. I might buy one for a spare,

Otherwise, pull out your calipers. Look at the drawing in the amazon listing and compare dimensions. It is a cassette motor though, Even if it fit, you;d have to change to a cassette,
